Sarawak Pakatan Harapan's leadership has resolved not to use a common logo for the Dec 18 state legislative assembly election.
This was revealed after Sarawak Harapan's leadership meeting in Kuching today.
However, Harapan had already decided in 2018 that the common logo would not be strictly enforced in Sarawak.
Meanwhile, Sarawak DAP chairperson Chong Chieng Jen said Harapan's main campaign platform was for Sarawakians to voice opposition to the Umno and PAS federal government through the upcoming state election.
"Gabungan Parti Sarawak openly supported Umno and PAS to be in the federal government. Umno-PAS federal government will only bring the country backward. There will be no progress.
"We hope that this election will see voters sending a strong message by showing disapproval for GPS, PAS, and Umno," he said.
On PKR's demands for more seats, Chong replied curtly: "The last agreement was (they get) 47."
PKR representative Micheal Teo, who was present, did not respond to the question.
Some Sarawak PKR leaders have publicly demanded Sarawak DAP hand over rights to field candidates for three seats in Miri.
However, Sarawak PKR had already ceded such rights through a written agreement in January. - Mkini
