Malay Muslim netizen decries 3R breaches over invitation for a bowl of ‘chi yoke fan’ (pork noodles)

A CHINESE Facebooker who goes by the username Gooi Sai Kaan could find himself in hot soup with a seditious social media posting of having invited “Muslims diners to drop by for a sumptuous bowl of old Fatt Kee pork noodles”.

However, it has to be borne in mind that the text on his Facebook (FB) post which has since been deleted following deactivation of his FB page could have been doctored based on further research by FocusM.

The original text read: “Urge non-Muslims come here [sic] dine in, very good food and clean, nice shop. Old Fatt Kee pork mee.”

Nevertheless, a fuming former New Straits Times senior journalist Sa’odah Elias has hit out at Gooi following viralling of the supposedly doctored “Malay translation” version by pleading for DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook to intervene in the matter.

“As if it’s so bad the Chinese have been bullied in Malaysia till such sky-high level of impudence,” the ‘colour blind’ netizen who has many Chinese and Indian friends lost her cool for once.

“When the Malays/Muslims become enraged, then you blame them (for being racists).”

Interestingly, Facebooker Anakanda Shaffeen Haji Ismail has managed to take a screenshot of Gooi’s Facebook page before it was pulled down.

He even hash-tagged the Royal Malaysia Police (#pdrmmalaysia) by furnishing Gooi’s details which include his name, religion, address and mobile phone number.

Apparently, Gooi has uploaded a couple of ‘counter-boycott’ FB posts by calling on non-Muslims to shy away from Muslim-owned business premises as a reaction to the the KK Super Mart blanket boycott drive orchestrated by UMNO Youth. Below are some samples.

In the latest twist, it was revealed by Facebooker Sepang Viral that Gooi is a member of Amanah, a PAS splinter party which is now part of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

Interestingly, there was pictorial evidence if him in an Amanah uniform receiving a certificate in addition to having taken a selfie next to Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.
