PARIS OLYMPICS - ATHEIST ANTI CHRISTIAN, PRO LGBT OPENING CEREMONY

So disrespectful towards many athletes from other nations 
 worst-ever opening ceremony of an Olympic Games?

My Comments :

Why did they choose to make fun of Christianity, Jesus Christ, the Last Supper, the "golden cow"? 

Because if they had mocked the Muslims, ALL of Paris would have been completely burnt down to the ground. There would be no Paris left.

Christians do not burn buildings to the ground in protest any more. So it is easier to pick on the Christians.

Why did the chicken cross the road? 
Because the duck said, 'You better leave me alone'.

This Olympics opening was also leaning heavily towards the LGBTQ. The character "occupying" Jesus Christ's seat at the table (in the picture above) is said to be a lesbian. All the characters were wearing clothes that  were "opposite" to their natural sex.

Russia was not invited to these Olympics in Paris. Because of politics.

Then they made Christianity the target of their ire at the Opening. Because of religion.

The International Olympics Council should establish strict guidelines to leave politics and religion out of this major sporting event.

Russia often produces gold medalists and world record holding athletes. To not invite such an athletic powerhouse to the Olympics means the rest are almost competing on crutches. Or 'handicaps'. 

And why pick on Christianity at an international event where attendees may not even care about Christianity? The world is full of delusions. Everyone enjoys their own delusions.

Almost a quarter of French adults (25%) identify themselves as atheists. 40% say they are 'non-religious'. And church attendance on Sundays is 5% (for Catholics). God is not doing well in France. 

 

And they had an early start at rejecting religion. During the French Revolution (1789 - 1794) they even beheaded Catholic nuns at the guillotine.

Hence what is to be greatly admired about the French is that they accept and respect differences. 

Perhaps the French have discovered something much bigger than freedom of religion or freedom of speech for you and me. 

They have discovered freedom FROM religion and freedom FROM your speech and mine as well.
Follow whatever religion you want but do not force your religion on me.
Please say whatever it is that you feel like saying. 
But please do not force your thoughts and your speech on me.  

 
That is the takeaway from the Opening Ceremony at the Paris Olympics 2024.
