PAS Youth has issued an open invitation to other parties and civil society organisations to join a committee in charge of planning a rally on Oct 4 against the Urban Renewal Act (URA).
They are also inviting Malaysians to join their protest against the "DAP law".
"As long as the URA remains lopsided, siding with developers and not protecting residents' interests, PAS Youth will continue opposing it," said PAS Youth deputy chief Hafez Sabri in a statement today.
Additionally, all PAS Youth divisions have been instructed to organise sessions to educate the public about the URA and whip up support for the protest.
PAS Youth had first announced plans for the mega rally in Kuala Lumpur during its general meeting last week.

The URA - which is still a bill and due to be debated in the upcoming Parliament session - aims to make it easier for the government to initiate redevelopment projects.
This is primarily achieved by lowering the required consent threshold, depending on the age of the building.
While the law spells out that residents need to be compensated, critics have argued that it is insufficient.
PAS has alleged that redevelopment projects would lead to Malays being marginalised in urban areas.
The government has pledged to improve the bill to address concerns regarding demographics and consent threshold before the legislation is up for debate. - Mkini
