GEORGE TOWN: Flood victims in Penang continue to rise.
As at 7.15pm, 830 flood victims from 231 families are sheltering at seven temporary flood relief centres in the state, according to the Info Bencana website.
Most victims are from the Seberang Prai Utara district, with 636 evacuees from 179 families sheltering at four centres.
In tje Seberang Prai Tengah district, 170 evacuees from 43 families are sheltering at two centres.
In the Southwest district, 24 flood victims from nine families are sheltering at one centre.
This afternoon, there were 469 evacuees from 156 families. - NST
