The MACC will question Segambut Bersatu division deputy chief Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad in investigations into the MEX II Highway project.
MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki said Adam, who is believed to be in the United Kingdom, has given his assurance that he will return to Malaysia and cooperate fully with the investigation.
“His lawyer, Shafee Abdullah, has also submitted a letter confirming this,” Azam told reporters after the MACC–UiTM Inspirasi 2025: Hari Integriti dan Kepimpinan programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam today.
Azam, who also serves as a UiTM adjunct professor, earlier delivered a lecture titled “Integrity as the Core of Leadership, Trustworthiness as the Foundation of Success”.
UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Shahrin Sahib @ Sahibuddin was also in attendance.
MACC had previously been tracing Adam, listing his last known address as A16-2 Sunway Pallazio, Jalan Sri Hartamas 3, Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, to assist in the probe into the MEX II Highway project, which runs from the Putrajaya Interchange to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Adam had earlier faced 12 charges, five for corruption and seven for money laundering, linked to the Jana Wibawa project.
He was later acquitted and discharged of all charges after paying a RM4.1 million compound, following MACC’s acceptance of his representation.
