IF ANGELS get to drive a vehicle, it has to be an ambulance. Just the sight of it hurrying by on the road gives us hope.
Many would be silently praying for the ambulance to swiftly reach its destination and begin administering life saving techniques to the unlucky person who brought it there in the first place.
That said, we have many reasons to give an ambulance the way, even during a traffic jam. However, there are circumstances where these life saving vehicles can become the very opposite of its intended purpose.
Take for example, a recent video where an ambulance could be seen plowing into a group of motorcyclists who were waiting at the junction at NSK Wangsa Maju. The life saver just turned into the life taker.
The video post by netizen @update11111 reminds us that in life, anything can happen. Readers can find the video at: https://x.com/update11111/status/2003076515366592687?s=20
On top of the shocking incident, some humour can be derived from the comment section. According to netizen @oilfieldhunk, the ambulance driver was likely from Kelantan. But are all Kelantanese drivers so reckless to deserve such broad brushing?

The brief video did not reveal any details about the condition of the victim but news portal New Straits Times reported that five people were injured in the accident. According to the news portal, it happened at the traffic light intersection along Jalan Usahawan 6, Setapak.
“It involved a 30-year-old man driving a car; a 34-year-old man driving the ambulance with a 24-year-old male passenger; four male motorcyclists; and a nine-year-old girl who was a pillion rider on one of the motorcycles,” said Kuala Lumpur Police Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa.
Following the initial collision, the ambulance skidded and crashed into several motorcycles and another car that was stopped at the traffic light.
“As a result of the accident, a 40-year-old male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, including a fracture to his right thigh, while other victims suffered minor injuries,” he said. — Focus Malaysia
