The PAS president says, however, that seat allocations and candidate selection are still being negotiated.

However, Hadi said the number of seats and the candidates are still being negotiated, Sinar Harian reported.
“In principle, most of the negotiations have reached an agreement. But the number of seats and candidates will be discussed,” he was quoted as saying after an event in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.
He said the approach to political cooperation had to take into account the circumstances and needs of each state, including Melaka.
Hadi said PAS’s proposed candidates would be discussed before their names were submitted to the party’s Syura Council for approval.
Yesterday, Perikatan Nasional deputy chairman Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the coalition would contest more than four of the 28 seats up for grabs in the Melaka election.
Tuan Ibrahim said the matter had been discussed at a cooperation meeting with BN and it is expected to be finalised soon through talks with Umno and BN.
The Election Commission has set Nov 14 as polling day for the 16th Melaka state polls following the dissolution of the state assembly on Sept 23.
Nomination day is Oct 31, and early voting will take place on Nov 10. - FMT
