KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Rizal Mansor has pleaded not guilty to four charges of graft involving RM218mil at the Sessions Court here.
The former aide to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was alleged to have solicited the amount on behalf of Rosmah and for himself.
The bribe was to ensure that Urusan Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd was awarded the project to supply diesel, repair generators and provide solar hybrid systems to 369 rural schools in Sarawak.
Rizal allegedly received the money from Urusan Jepak Holdings managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin between March and December 2016.
DPP Kamal Baharin Omar requested bail to be set at RM1mil on Thursday.
