PETALING JAYA (Bernama): The police have denied that a viral picture of a group of naked men and women on a beach happened in Port Dickson.
Port Dickson district police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed said the viral picture in fact happened on a beach in Penang a few years ago.
“The Port Dickson district police headquarters has not received any complaints from NGOs (non-governmental organisation) or the public in relation to this incident.
“We welcome the public to come forward to any police station to lodge a report if such an incident did occur in Port Dickson,” he said in a statement issued on Sunday (Nov 11).
He also advised the public to stop sharing the image on social media platforms as it could “bring discomfort to society”. – Bernama
