PKR president Anwar Ibrahim will only decide on who will fill the party’s appointed posts after he gathers feedback from state and division leaders, according to PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
"Anwar has told me that he needs some time for the engagement sessions. So far, he has had the sessions with Penang leaders and needs feedback from all around before deciding on the appointments,” he told reporters at the Parliament's lobby yesterday.
Saifuddin said according to the party constitution, the president has the powers to appoint two vice-presidents, five Central Leadership Council members, secretary-general, treasurer, information chief and 14 state chairpersons.
