MAHATHIR’S ‘BOLEH-LAND’ REIGNS SUPREME – PERAK MB GETS OFF SCOT-FREE DESPITE VIDEO EVIDENCE: AHMAD FAIZAL – DETESTED FOR HIS INCOMPETENCE – CREATES MORE SCORN FOR PAKATAN WITH HIS HYPOCRISY

PERAK Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu today affirmed that his relationship with DAP state lawmakers is good despite a recent video showing him criticising them during a walkabout in Tanjung Piai.
Faizal, who was present during Bersatu supreme council meeting this evening in Kuala Lumpur, said his remarks were taken out of context.
“I was at the palace yesterday celebrating Tuanku Sultan’s (Perak) birthday. There was no problem and we were there together celebrating.
“My speech was taken out of context. I already explained myself to party leadership,” said the Perak MB.
After the meeting, Prime Minister and Bersatu chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the party was not going to take any disciplinary action Faizal over his controversial remarks against DAP recently.
Dr Mahathir said that Faizal was trying to explain to the locals about his efforts as a Malay MB and that he was not being controlled by DAP.
Faizal also said that everyone must now put their focus on winning the Tanjung Piai seat.
“We must make sure Karmaine (Sardini) wins and becomes Tanjung Piai MP,” he added.
Faizal was recently accused of undermining DAP in Perak state government.
In an election campaign last week, he told a group of villagers in Tanjung Piai that he was facing a lone battle against DAP in the state.
The remarks were recorded on video and later shared on social media.
“In Perak, I am fighting a desperate battle alone against ‘puak-puak’ (factions) DAP.
“I want to defend the land of the Malays and our religion. I am doing this slowly,” said the former Umno man in the six-minute video.
Faizal won the Chenderiang seat in the general election last year and is the sole Bersatu assemblyman in Perak.
Asked if he would be apologising to DAP, Faizal replied that he did not commit any wrongdoing.
He also said that would be staying in PH, despite an offer from Perak PAS to join the PAS-Umno pact.
