The government has capped the price of RON95 and diesel to stabilise fuel prices and to reduce the people’s cost of living.
In a statement today, the finance ministry said without subsidies, the price for RON95 and diesel should be RM2.36 and RM2.29, respectively, under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
This subsidy is expected to cost the government RM115.70 million for the one-week period. - FMT
