One thing is CERTAIN, Malaysians on the whole need to be taught the religious and cultural events in Malaysia.

To compliment the jawi khat script, a lesson on religious and cultural events celebrated by Malaysians should be incorporated in the Standard 4 Bahasa Melayu textbook.

Then we would not find people saying this and that about religious and cultural festivity celebrated in Malaysia.

Malaysia is a multi-racial, multi-religious and multi-cultural society.

Its a shame that educated Malaysians can't differentiate between religious and cultural events in Malaysia. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
