Covid-19 makes a return to Perak as Manjung slips from green to yellow

Malaysiakini
CORONAVIRUS | Perak has recorded its first new cases of Covid-19 after almost two weeks without any infections, losing its status as one of five states that were free of the virus.
The latest infections were found in the district of Manjung, Perak, where two people had tested positive for Covid-19.
This means Manjung is now a Covid-19 yellow zone.
According to the Health Ministry's definition, areas that are free of Covid-19 are green zones while areas with up to 40 active Covid-19 cases are yellow zones. Districts that have more than 40 active Covid-19 cases are red zones.
Perak previously recorded 253 Covid-19 infections but all cases had been resolved.
Meanwhile, Sabak Bernam in Selangor similarly slipped back in a yellow zone after recording one new case there.
However, Kota Samarahan in Sarawak saw improvement as it turned from a red zone to a yellow zone. This is after the number of active cases there fell to 36.
All data are updated until noon yesterday.
In total, there are now nine red zones, down from 10 a day before and 76 yellow zones, up from 73 a day before. The number of green zones stands at 116, down from 118 a day before.
The red zones are Ibu Kota (147 active cases), Batu (107), Kampung Bharu (73) and Sri Petaling (45) in Kuala Lumpur, Rembau (130) in Negeri Sembilan, Kuching (85) in Sarawak, Gombak (71) and Petaling (60) in Selangor and Kluang (41) in Johor.
