CORONAVIRUS | The government will now allow postgraduate students to resume research activities on campus.
However, according to Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, this will be limited to students with research requiring them to conduct physical laboratory studies or the need to use specific instruments.
“The special ministers’ meeting yesterday decided to approve research activities for postgraduate students such as masters or PhD, as soon as possible.
“This will involve some 31,508 students in 462 institutes of higher education... an estimated 60 students per institute. So this is not a high number,” he said during his daily press conference in Putrajaya today.
