PETALING JAYA: Fewer vehicles were detected attempting unauthorised interstate travel on Friday (May 22) compared to the day before, but there were still 1,613 vehicles that were told to turn back, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister this was fewer than the 2,539 vehicles that attempted to cross state lines before being asked to turn back by the police on Thursday (May 21).
He also said the states which had the highest unauthorised interstate travel attempts were Selangor (329) followed by Kedah (211) and Penang (196).
