The Sabah Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) arrested two policemen from the Keningau police district headquarters tonight for alleged bribery.
Its director, S Karunanithy said the duo, both corporals and aged 37 and 44 were alleged to have accepted a RM3,000 bribe from a complainant as an inducement for them not to take action against him following the discovery of drug paraphernalia in his house.
Both cops will be investigated under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009, he said in a statement here today.
