COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 3,504 new Covid-19 cases today, the second day in a row in which new cases are below the 4,000 mark.
As of last night, the R-naught for Malaysia is 0.95. The R-naught has been on a six-day downtrend.
Only Penang, Malacca and Negeri Sembilan has a R-naught above 1.00.
Hospital admission of Covid-19 patients is 5.6 percent lower over the past seven days compared to the preceding week.
However, bucking the national trend, hospital admissions of confirmed Covid-19 patients in Penang (+27.8 percent) and Negeri Sembilan (+27.1 percent) rose during the same period.
A state-level breakdown of new Covid-19 cases will only be published by the Health Ministry after midnight. These are yesterday's figures:
