PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has handed over two more of its officers to police to assist in investigations into a RM700,000 robbery case.
Earlier, it was reported that an MACC officer and another man had been arrested over the weekend in connection with the robbery in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
In a statement today, the MACC said it would lend its “full cooperation” to police in investigating criminal cases involving its officers.
“The MACC would like to emphasise that the commission will not compromise or protect any officer involved in crime, and urges that this investigation be expedited.” - FMT
