PETALING JAYA: Youth activist Adam Adli is leading in the race for the PKR Youth chief’s post in the party polls after obtaining 7,545 votes in four states.
His rival, Fahmi Zainol, the Penang PKR Youth chief, secured 7,001 votes, Berita Harian reported.
Adam joined the party in September last year.
His team, known as Seangkatan, also has three vice-chief candidates and 20 executive council candidates.
Adam’s running mate, lawyer Kamil Munim, is vying for the wing’s number two post.
Fahmi’s team, meanwhile, comprises Rawang assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat, Batu MP P Prabakaran and Melaka Youth chief B Prasanth Kumar. - FMT
