People Vote With Their Stomachs

And why would a new Umno government be better than the current Umno government? Is lunacy not defined as doing the same thing while expecting a different result? Logic tells us if you want a different result then you must vote for a different government.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Umno claims it has 3.3 million members, but it garnered only 2.5 million votes in the May 2018 general election.

Why?

If voters vote for a clean, transparent, accountable, corrupt-free, democratic, just, fair, etc., government, then Umno would have been kicked out 30 years ago.

Malays hate history. But they do not realise that history gives us an insight into the future. So we need to know history to know the future.

For example, what triggered the French and Russian revolutions? It was hunger, not ideology. People were hungry, so they “voted” for change. And they chose the bullet, not the ballot, to force change.

Why was Umno kicked out in May 2018? Because of civil liberties, democracy, corruption, principles, and all those noble values?

No! It was because Malaysians were promised an end to taxation and a lower cost of living. That was the same reason for the American Revolution (no more taxes will need to be paid to the King).

So the next general election or GE15 is also going to be about money. Malaysians are going to vote with their stomachs. Who can guarantee Malaysians a better economic future?

At the moment no one can guarantee Malaysians that.

Umno says Ismail Sabri Yaakob cannot manage the country. Hence, they want a snap general election so that the government can be changed.

If Ismail Sabri cannot manage the country, as Umno says, then who can? Give us the name of the Umno person who will replace Ismail Sabri as the new post-GE15 prime minister? And explain why he can do what Ismail Sabri cannot do?

Umno is hoodwinking us. They are doing what Pakatan Harapan did in 2018. Pakatan Harapan told Malaysians that a change of government will solve the country’s problems and Malaysians will become rich. Today, Umno is telling Malaysians the same thing.

In 2018, Malaysians believed that a change of government is going to solve the country’s problems and Malaysians are going to get rich. Will Malaysians still believe that now?

And why would a new Umno government be better than the current Umno government? Is lunacy not defined as doing the same thing while expecting a different result? Logic tells us if you want a different result then you must vote for a different government.
