no Anwar” mantra was a lie, according to recently dropped Umno Supreme Council member Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
At a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today, Tajuddin said he was a “living witness” to Zahid signing a statutory declaration backing PKR president Anwar Ibrahim as prime minister.
My Comments:
In the Johor State elections Brader Anwar's decision to pull out of PH and contest under PKR's own banner certainly helped UMNO-BN win the Johor elections. The Opposition vote became split and UMNO-BN won often with slightly over 1/3 of the votes.
I am sure Zahid Hamidi was very happy with the outcome of the Johor elections.
With hindisght we now know that if PKR did not pull out of PH in Johor then UMNO-BN would not have won.
What if Brader Anwar again decides to pull PKR out of PH at the 15th General Elections? It will certainly split the Opposition vote again. It can make UMNO-BN win the elections (like in Johor).
If PKR can also win enough seats is there a possibility of Brader Anwar becoming PM?
If what Tajuddin says above is true about the 'no DAP, no Anwar' mantra then there is a possibility that Brader Anwar can become PM.
