Rafizi orders PKR members to start countering Najib's 'lies'

 

The new PKR deputy president has called on party members to counter former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak's narratives, and not let the latter think he still runs the show.

Speaking at the PKR National Congress this afternoon, Rafizi Ramli said the party needs to stop Najib from continuing to "poison the rakyat's mind".

"We do not have much time before the next general election. There is a lot of heavy work to be done within the next four to five months.

"The first thing we have to do is to counter Umno's narratives, we cannot let them do whatever they want. We cannot allow Najib to syok sendiri (be full of himself),” he said.

"Aren't you bored (with his antics)? We have already defeated him. If we do not start to counter his words, he will think that he is still the country's leader.

"So, the first duty when you go back is to counter Najib, until he goes to prison," he added.

Rafizi then called all party members to lodge a police report against the Pekan MP at police stations nationwide this Tuesday (July 19).

"We cannot let him continue to play racial sentiments and poison the rakyat's (mind).

"Enough is enough.”

Rafizi told PKR members that they must also lodge police reports every time Najib tells "lies".

According to him, the former premier is only a "coward", and has been talking a lot "just because no one counters his words".
