PM announces aid for Batang Kali landslide victims

BATANG KALI: Next-of-kin of victims who died in Batang Kali landslide will receive RM10,000 each as early compensation.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said other victims affected by the landslide will receive RM1,000 in compassionate aid.

He said the distribution of the aid will be handled by the Selangor government and non-governmental organisations.
