Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has questioned whether critics will allow the MACC to arrest or investigate anyone over corruption if every probe is deemed "politically motivated".
He said this while denying once again that the MACC's probe on Bersatu leaders is politically motivated, amid expectations that party president Muhyiddin Yassin will be arrested and charged.
"To say every case is politically motivated, does it mean (the MACC) can't make arrests?
"That all big corruption cases should be let go?" he told reporters today.
As of writing, Muhyiddin is being questioned at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya and speculation is rife that he would be arrested today, and charged tomorrow.
