Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali has bagged an award in the inaugural award for most sexist comments of the year, organised by a group of gender rights NGOs.
The abrasive Malay rights pressure group leader took top prize in the ‘Insulting Intelligence’ category.
Ibrahim made the winning remark last April when he said extramarital affairs are caused by “wives who neglect their responsibilities” to their husbands.
