RTM prerecorded broadcast open to manipulation
The limiting of airing only pre-recorded party manifestos over Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) will expose the message to being edited and distorted, charged PAS.
"Even now when political leaders want to say something, we already know his statements will be snipped.
"It can be edited, and it won't be the original, and would not convey the intended meaning," said PAS secretary-general Mustafa Ali.
He was responding to yesterday's announcementof Election Commission (EC) chief Abdul Aziz Yusof's that RTM would not be allowed to broadcast political parties' manifestos live in the coming general election campaign.
