Attached in this e-mail is a press statement by Charles Santiago, Member of Parliament, Klang, highlighting the legality, or lack of it, in the Selangor government's insistence on signing the water restructuring agreement. After the case of Nizar v Zambry in Perak, the Federal Court ruled that an MB does not have legitimacy to rule if he loses majority support, a position which Khalid Ibrahim finds himself in today. The Attorney-General must now advise the government on this.
