This follows Ipoh High Court judge Justice Lee Swee Seng granting a mandamus (to compel) order for the IGP to respond and make the arrest.
PETALING JAYA: IGP Khalid Abu Baker has been given till Tuesday to arrest K. Pathmanathan @ Muhd Ridhuan Abdullah and retrieve six-year-old Prasana Diksa.
This follows Ipoh High Court judge Justice Lee Swee Seng granting a mandamus (to compel) order for the IGP to respond and make the arrest.
Justice Lee also refused the senior federal counsel’s application for a stay of the mandamus order.
This was tweeted by Ipoh Barat MP M.Kulasegaran, who is one of the lawyers appearing for kindergarten teacher M.Indira Gandhi.
In his Tweet Kulasegaran said: “Court grants a mandamus order against the IGP to arrest n retrieve the child of Indira Gandhi if possible before 16/9/14. SFC asking 4stay.”
