Azizan Abdullah
Upon close scrutiny of Sakmongkol’s article on The White and Black Minstrel Show ended as a huge Embarrasment, objective readers can safely conclude that it is contentious, malicious and seditious.
Outrageously Contentious
Despite being the Member of Parliament for Raub, Sakmongkol has no qualms about making controversial and unsupported allegations including:
* insulting the intelligence of the rakyat in assuming we will ‘forget about the rising cost of living’ and ‘diminishing value of income’
* no examples or evidence to substantiate his statement regarding “the financial scandals created by the government, governmental dishonesty, abuse of power, social strife caused by extremists”
* obvious innuendo about the Bonnie and Clyde couple of Malaysia and to whom it was directed
Disgustingly Malicious
Sak’s bizarre fantasy about Khairy Jamaluddin as the super hero to rescue his own perceived predicament faced by the Prime Minister reeks of gutter journalism that stinks to the highest heavens. Can the Prime Minister of a country be saved by a young Minister? Certainly, his postulation indicates Sak is losing the plot.
His ludicrous theory about how the roadshow will elevate KJ’s relevance disgraces himself for it shows his complete ignorance of how UMNO functions, despite being a former UMNO member himself. What’s his beef about KJ?
The way Sak speaks about Tun Dr Mahathir, Pak Lah and other ministers shows how he has put on an omniscient persona – thinking that he alone can direct the political dynamics of this country and he alone understands all the scheming and plotting in the political sphere.
Slyly Seditious
Reading Sak’s rants about Altantuya and Anwar gives readers the impression that he must have had one too many when he wrote this post. He waffles around regarding his baseless theories and cannot make up his mind as to which issue/character he wants to use as a missile to bomb his enemies – KJ, PM, Altantuya’s murderers or Anwar.
His mindless and disorganised, poorly reasoned and highly sensationalised rants about Anwar serves only one purpose – to stir the rakyat against the government.
Despite the highly seditious nature of his post, Sak has the cheek to question NGO Semut’s Zapa if he could understand the nauseating content of his article.
It is inconceivable that a MP like Sak does not understand how his article:
(a) deliberately and surreptitiously brings hatred, contempt and disaffection against the administration of justice in Malaysia or in any State with regards to the Altantya and Anwar case
(b) maliciously raises discontent or disaffection amongst the subjects of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or of the Ruler of any State or amongst the inhabitants of Malaysia or of any State;
(c) promotes feelings of ill-will and hostility between different races or classes of Malaysians and
(d) brazenly insinuates how once the masses have federal power, they don’t need to go before the King to free Anwar.
He can object, ridicule and deny anything under the heavens but others cannot. God is his judge.
If a man can betray his first wife and his seven children for a young air stewardess and act as though the nation owes him a free lunch, he must realise he has not moral right to condemn anyone on this planet but himself.
It is easier for Sakmongkol to see the speck in Zapa’s eye than the redwood log in his own.
But of course, he chooses to be blind to everything that is pure, noble and true.
When he used ‘awesomely imbecilic’, me thinks Sak was actually looking at the mirror and talking about himself – not Zapa, SEMUT or anyone.
