The Kuala Lumpur High Court has fixed May 20 to hear former de facto law minister Zaid Ibrahim's application to quiz several witnesses from attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali who is opposed to his judicial review application.
Justice Hanipah Farikullah fixed the date in chambers after meeting the parties.
Zaid's lawyer Americk Sidhu said the date was fixed to facilitate the hearing of Zaid's application to cross-examine the witnesses.
The earlier date on March 20 has been set aside.
It was previously reported that Apandi will make a preliminary objection to Zaid and also former Umno Batu Kawan division vice-chief Khairuddin Abu Hassan's application.
They wanted to challenge Apandi's decision not to charge Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak over the RM2.6 billion donation and the RM42 million from SRC International Sdn Bhd found in the PM's personal bank accounts.
Apandi was represented by senior federal counsel Shamsul Bolhassan.
