THE END GAME IS NEAR FOR NAJIB: DR M CAMP SINGS A REQUIEM FOR NAJIB'S NEW UMNO

Many have asked me, what is the end game? Where is Malaysia heading?

In fact, they know the answer but hope that their own conclusions may be wrong and or misperceived. I would reply, why ask me when you know the answers? It seems to me that they fear the harsh reality, the ugly truth that the future is fraught with danger and hopelessness – the end is near.

Facial scars of shame and humiliation are all too apparent and there is no hiding that the discomfort and stress has taken a toll. For more than two generations, UMNO members were told and led to believe that they are the masters of their destinies and would soon achieved developed nation status, no longer a nation of padi farmers. Vision 2020 as espoused by Tun Mahathir Mohamad inspired the entire nation and drove the country at a frantic pace to achieve the goals set out in the Vision.

We were proud to be Malaysians!

But, unfortunately the successors of Tun Mahathir Mohamad, the fifth and sixth Prime Ministers paid lip service to the national endeavour as they never believed in the Vision. The one man, yes, it was one man, who systematically scuttled the national vision was the vindictive, pernicious pseudo-intellectual High Priest, Musa Hitam who advised the subsequent Prime Ministers to jettison the national vision and to embark on a new trajectory for economic development.

This man, an intellectual bankrupt could not and never did accept the stark reality that he was inferior in all departments to Tun Mahathir Mohamad and so it was his lifelong ambition to destroy Tun Mahathir Mohamad’s legacies. But, he failed miserably. Musa Hitam’s infantile ploy was to manipulate the group of young, wet behind the ears, to do the dirty work, led initially by a British made clone, Khairy Jamaluddin, the son-in-law of the fifth Prime Minister ((tutored behind the Oxford façade and packaged by the Economist magazine). The result was utter fiasco and the fifth Prime Minister was booted out of office when the Barisan Nasional lost its two-thirds majority in Parliament and five state governments. The defeat was unprecedented and laid the seeds for the subsequent downfall of UMNO which we are witnessing today.

Instead of learning the bitter lessons from the disaster, Musa Hitam, so typical of egoistic morons, covered up his failures and maneuvered behind the scenes to be the shadow adviser for the sixth Prime Minister, Najib. This time, he hid from the limelight but through a whispering campaign via Abdullah Badawi (the fifth Prime Minister) he slowly but surely poisoned the minds of Najib’s entourage to continue the destruction of Tun Mahathir Mohamad’s legacies.

Musa Hitam also exploited the deep-seated anger of Najib and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, when Najib was by-passed for elevation to Deputy Prime Minister when Anwar Ibrahim was rejected by UMNO. They could not accept that Tun Mahathir Mohamad appointed Abdullah Badawi.

Najib and Rosmah Mansor have never forgiven Tun Mahathir Mohamad for this slight and waited patiently for their turn to attain power to exact revenge without realising that they were dancing to the tune of Musa Hitam, the puppet master.

This is so obvious from Musa Hitam’s recent public statements. In his criticisms of Najib, he was venting his frustrations and disappointments that Najib failed him just as Badawi has failed him. At the same time, he could not help himself but to blame Tun Mahathir Mohamad for his utter failure as an UMNO leader, thus revealing his deep-seated hatred for Tun Mahathir Mohamad.

This Musa Hitam is a scoundrel. He is now blaming Najib for the failure to achieve the goals of Vision 2020, a vision which he had never subscribed to. But, behind this attack on Najib, he is attempting to resurrect his moribund career by criticising Tun Mahathir Mohamad for failing to “train leaders to succeed him”, and that all Tun did was to “train followers”!

Surely, if he professes to be a leader and an intellectually sound leader at that, he needed no training from Tun Mahathir Mohamad. He always boasts that he was a mentor to Abdullah Badawi (“Badawi is my boy”) as well as the “behind the scene High Priest” to Najib. He must, therefore, be responsible for the failures of Badawi and Najib to be “leaders”. Did he not boast that he had groomed them?

Musa Hitam brainwashed Badawi and Najib in his image – a megalomaniac, bidding his time to exact revenge. Patience was instilled in both Badawi and Najib to not only drain the blood from Tun Mahathir Mohamad, but also to have a pound of Tun’s flesh. But, these morons forgot that the blood-sucking Shylock was outplayed and out-witted by Portia in Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice.

Patience is indeed a virtue when employed in pursuit of noble aims. But, patience becomes a poison that messes up the mind when it is harboured for illconceived cravings for revenge.

So, when Zahid Hamidi praised Najib for his patience, failing to evaluate the context, he displayed the typical mind of a “Loyal But Not Smart” follower cum crony.

It is this patient insidious plotting for revenge against Tun Mahathir Mohamad inculcated by Musa Hitam on Badawi and then on Najib, that sowed the seeds of destruction of UMNO.

How is this so?

I have studied this UMNO traitor, Musa Hitam, since his self-destruction after resigning as the Deputy Prime Minister in 1987. After failing to challenge Tun

Mahathir Mohamad for control of UMNO, he became a bitter man. Instead of accepting his failings as a leader, he blamed Tun Mahathir Mohamad for everything and plotted and plotted to destroy Tun Mahathir Mohamad.

Tun Mahathir Mohamad has often reminded UMNO and the Malays, “Melayu Muda Lupa” (Malays forget easily). How true and this is again illustrated by the “career” of Musa Hitam.

Musa Hitam has conveniently forgotten as well as the present posse of “Loyal But Not Smart” cronies of Najib what Tun Mahathir Mohamad has done for them. But, I would like to focus on Musa Hitam.

Did you know that Tun Mahathir Mohamad gave this ungrateful scoundrel every opportunity to improve himself and resurrect his political career?

Recall:

Between 1990 and 1991, he was Malaysia's Special Envoy to the United Nations, and since 1995 he has been the Prime Minister's Special Envoy to the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG). Tan Sri Musa also led the Malaysian delegation to the UN Commission on Human Rights from 1993 to 1998 and was elected Chairman of the 52nd Session of the Commission in 1995. As a member of UMNO, Musa has held various positions within the party up to Deputy President until 1987. He also served as the Chairman of Suhakam, the Malaysian Human Rights Commission, from 1999 till 2002.

Tun Mahathir Mohamad, as Prime Minister, forgave Musa Hitam and made him the Special Envoy to the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group. Read that again!

How did this insidious plotter repay Tun Mahathir Mohamad?

When a man is driven by revenge, he is blinded by rage and forgets that he and he alone is responsible for own his self-destruction. And the pursuit of power and thereby the inevitable abuse of power, serve one purpose and one purpose only – to destroy the opponent.

Musa Hitam conveniently forgot that when he and Tengku Razaleigh refused to accept the defeat in the 1987 UMNO polls, they caused the split and the subsequent de-registration of UMNO.

Nazri and 'cari makan'

I hope by now you will understand the modus operandi of a vengeful plotter.

It is the patient plotting for power to exact revenge.

While patiently plotting and before attaining power, they must “cari makan”(earn a living), “look after our children and grandchildren” and “since our children’s livelihood is dependent on government contracts, we cannot jeopardise this special patronage...”

And, because they have patiently waited for so long, once they have achieved power, they consider themselves to be above the law and the next stage in their Modus Operandi is illustrated by:

The uncouth behaviour of the Tourism and Culture Minister, Nazri when he shouted down at his critics that, “… they can bark till the cows come home, nothing will happen, ignore them.”

In this one statement, Nazri, the latest cheer-leader of the “Loyal But Not Smart” followers of Emperor Najib, displayed the ugly and misplaced arrogance that they are above the law by virtue that they are the ruling elites and “nothing will happen” to them because the Malays have been on the receiving end of the UMNO feudal overlord patronage for so long that they just don’t have the moral fibre to even care about the present crisis, what more to oppose Emperor Najib (repeating what I had wrote earlier as a reminder).

Tengku Adnan, the Secretary-General of UMNO has condemned UMNO Branch Chairmen and members who criticised Najib as “Shit-stirrers”.

They are to be seen, not heard and when ordered by their supreme Lord and Master, Najib, they must do and die for UMNO and not ask why!

No one can stand in their way

And now that they have attained unlimited power, it is their modus operandi that no one must stand in their way and everything must be done to preserve that power – “all options are on the table”.

The plotters have learned well from the Americans and the Brits (the AngloAmerican elites).

This modus operandi (copied from the neo-cons’ Project for the New American Century [PNAC] to project supremacy of power) is the new “political soul” for UMNO.

It is the politics of:

Terror and intimidation, embedded in a feudal culture of fear and the threat of national security violence.

If you accept the internationally renowned political analysts’ diagnosis that the PNAC has laid the seeds for the destruction of the American empire, is it really that far-fetched to assert that Najib’s new political soul for UMNO is in itself the Requiem for UMNO?

I cry for my beloved Malaysia!
