Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor has refused to comment on whether vice-president Mohd Shafie Apdal will face action.
"No comment, no comment. Why should I give comments on those who are childish? Let them carry on being kids," he told reporters in the Parliament lobby today.
Shafie was dropped from the cabinet last July together with former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin for being critical of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Muhyiddin has since been suspended as Umno deputy president.
Tengku Adnan, who is popularly known as Ku Nan, also remained tightlipped on former Terengganu menteri besar Ahmad Said's motion of no confidence against his successor.
On Tuesday, Ahmad Said stunned the state legislative assembly when he filed the motion against the current menteri besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman.
However, the speaker had rejected the motion.
