LTAT challenge accepted, Rafizi to disclose names

PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has picked up the gauntlet thrown to him by Armed Forces Fund Board, LTAT, vowing to disclose the names of service veterans who he claimed have not been paid their gratuity by the fund after retirement.
Arguing that the matter is not his job to do so, Rafizi said he would, as requested, officially send in the list of names of Armed Forces retirees whose gratuity payments are still outstanding.
He also turned the tables on LTAT, critising the fund for not answering his allegation on the purported outstanding payment from sovereign fund 1MDB to LTAT subsidiary Perbadanan Harta Perwira Malaysia (PPHM).
"Now, suddenly, it is my job to send in the list of names of veterans with oustanding gratuity payments. Furthermore, I was threatened with a lawsuit if I failed to do so.
"My office will formally send in the list of names of veterans who made official complaints to me and Lumut MP Imran Abdul Hamid, by 5pm today," Rafizi said at a press conference at the Parliament lobby.
