Selangor MB thanks those who worked hard to restore water supply to all affected areas quickly.
SHAH ALAM: The restoration of water supply to all areas affected by the maintenance work at the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) main entry substation in Bukit Badong, Hulu Selangor, has been completed in just three days and not six, as initially scheduled.
Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said based on the report he received from Air Selangor, as at 7am today, water supply to all affected areas in Zone 1 had been 100% restored, while in Zone 2, 99.5% had been restored.
“I would like to express gratitude to the staff of Air Selangor, who worked hard to restore the water supply to all affected areas in the shortest possible time.
“The comfort of the consumers remains the state government’s priority, especially during this festive season and school holiday,” he said in a statement here today.
As such, Azmin also said the state government would continue monitoring the situation to ensure sufficient supply of clean water for consumers in the Klang Valley.-FMT
