FORMER IGP MUSA HASSAN SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR LINKS WITH THE UNDERWORLD
Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan told a press conference earlier today that Malaysia Today blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) slandered him through an article titled How Mukhriz is going to become PM.
According to Musa, the blogger labelled him ‘a running dog’ for assisting former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad to put the fix on Anwar. Musa threatened action pursuant to law in the event the blogger refuses to retract his article within 14 days.
If Musa who was the IGP was not behind Sodomy 2 then who was?
But then RPK is not the only one who accused Musa of impropriety. Lawyer Rosli Dahlan also said that Musa is a dishonest person in the interview published by Free Malaysia Today on 18th December 2012 titled ‘Frightened Musa wants to save his skin’.
In that interview, Rosli said:
“Musa is a manipulator, opportunist and a liar. He is a principal lecturer at UiTM in media warfare, so we should not be surprised that he is using the media to reinvent his image,” said Rosli.
Former Kuala Lumpur CID chief Mat Zain previously accused Musa of fabricating evidence in Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s 1998 black eye Incident.
Rosli said Musa was also the investigating officer in Anwar’s first sodomy charge and the incumbent IGP when the second sodomy charge was “orchestrated”.
“Never before in the history of this country has an active serving IGP faced such an accusation from his own ADC (aide de camp),” said Rosli.
“As for being a liar, it is not what I say, but the various people who have dealt with Musa including the damning judgment by Sessions Judge Supang Lian of the Kota Kinabalu court,” he added.
When Musa became the final witness for the prosecution in order to rebut the other police witnesses who had given evidence supporting Ramli, the judge delivered the following stinging judgment against Musa:
“[Musa’s] evidence is unreliable and is to be disregarded and whatever he says in court lends to his discredit. I am in total agreement with the case for the defence that this lack of support of the evidence of [Musa] on this point lends to his discredit… I found however that the evidence of [Musa] on this to be unreliable and to be disregarded.”
Rosli Dahlan called Musa a manipulator, opportunist and a liar
In light of the above, I would like to refer Malaysians to an article written by me dated the 20th of February 2015 (READ HERE). In the article, I made public a complicity involving “former Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan, MyWatch Chairman Sri Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan, and Former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.”
The article implied a possible conspiracy between Musa and Sanjeevan to rig the 13th Malaysian General Election and to subvert sodomy proceedings levelled against Anwar, then ongoing. The implication, both derived and supplied, followed some back and forth that took place between me and a former Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Jude Pereira, over the span of some days.
In a cautioned testimony of sorts by Jude in my presence, and later in writing, Musa was said to have gotten in touch with him a week or so prior to the general election, prompting the ex-DSP to head over to Petaling Jaya (PJ) for a meeting. At the meeting, Musa appeared cognisant of another meeting that was about to take place between Jude and Sanjeevan, the MyWatch Chairman.
According to Jude’s written account, Musa related just how close Sanjeevan was with Anwar, adding that the former deputy premier had even sought a close friendship with him. It struck me then and there that the duo, Musa and Anwar, were not as close as one might have imagined. At least, that was the impression I got based on Jude’s testimony.
As the story went, Jude met Sanjeevan at the PJ Hilton hotel and was asked to issue a statement to the effect that there existed a conspiracy against Anwar leading to trumped up charges. It immediately occurred to me that both Sanjeevan and Musa had conspired to lure Jude to PJ for the meeting.
My suspicion was fuelled by Jude’s account, which expressed in concise terms how Musa had queried if probes against Anwar were tainted through conspiracy. Musa’s line of questioning, though exclusive, was coherent and remarkably consistent with that of Sanjeevan.
Sri Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan, Musa Hassan’s partner-in-crime
More than a year later, on the 11th of August 2016, Sanjeevan was arrested on charges of extorting a gaming centre owner. According to a report by Free Malaysia Today, Bukit Aman D7 Principal Assistant Director SAC Roslee Chik confirmed that Sanjeevan was held at the Kajang police headquarters.
“There are 20 investigation papers on the suspect,” the portal reported Roslee as saying.
The arrest caused many to breathe a sigh of relief amid rumours that Sanjeevan was a gangster who regularly engaged with notorious Chinese and Indian groups. My sources have since revealed that the former IGP was indeed a Sanjeevan associate and had frequently consorted with the latter prior to the 13th general election.
Given that Mahathir has changed his stance on Anwar, it is not impossible that the former IGP did the same back in 2013. It has since been established that the former premier leads a group of saboteurs involving Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail to sabotage 1MDB and the administration of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak. More than that, my sources have confirmed that both Musa and Gani did indeed share a rapport since the former’s days as IGP.
In light of the above, it is my express desire that the former IGP be investigated on account of his links, if any, to the underworld and to several Chinese associations headed by MCA life members that had conspired with Mahathir to sabotage the 13th Malaysian general election. It is also my wish that Musa be interrogated for his role in a conspiracy to subvert Anwar’s sodomy trial back in 2013.
