My comments :  Tan Sri Sheriff Kassim is a retired Ketua Setiausaha Negara or KSN. 

There is not only no 'khalwat offence' in the Quran but even PAS forgot to put it in their hudud of PAS. 

There is no 'khalwat' included in the hudud of PAS.  Depa lupa kah?

It maybe part of the religious legislation in the states in this country but it is not part of PAS hudud or the shariah.   

And the Star quotes Tan Sri Sheriff Kassim :     "He said that even Islamic leaders consider khalwat raids as un-Islamic as it may give the impression that the religion uses punishment as the only way to uphold moral values." 

He did not mention who are these 'Islamic leaders' but the message is clear - the khalwat raids are unIslamic.  Khalwat raids are not even part of Islam.  


What is the solution? 

People must become more intelligent, more educated, more civilised and less violent. 
When you are educated, when you attain a certain level of civilisation then the real Islam becomes clearer to you. 

Islam is for people who are intelligent, people who are logical, people who are modern and progressive.

If you are not intelligent, if you are not logical, if you are not modern and not progressive then you cannot be a good Muslim.   

You can be whatever you are. Stupid, illogical, backward, stone aged and under the tutelage of shaytan.
