PETALING JAYA: A ministry secretary-general who is a Datuk was detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) early today for alleged power abuse and corruption.
The 59-year-old man was detained at his house in Subang Jaya by an MACC team before being taken away for investigations over the alleged awarding of work contracts and other tenders to cronies.
The MACC is expected to release further details later today.
