M'kini Apologises For Erroneous article about MLA and deputy minister Razali Ibrahim

Here is Mkini about Deputy Minister Razali Ibrahim.  M'kini says they made a mistake in the matter of the MLA between Malaysia and Switzerland.

Erroneous article about MLA and deputy minister Razali Ibrahim
On April 14, we published a response from Switzerland's Office of the Attorney-General stating that it had not received a Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) request from Malaysia.

The report also stated that this contradicted Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Razali Ibrahim's statement to Parliament. This is incorrect and Malaysiakini has made amendments to the story.

Razali explained that his comments on MLA in Parliament on March 23 was in reference to Switzerland's request for MLA to Malaysia and not the opposite.

We apologise for the error.

Razali also urged those who had criticised him based on the previous report to apologise and make the necessary amendments.

Razali named blogger OutSyed the Box, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli and Parti Bebas Rasuah deputy president Khairuddin Abu Hassan as those who criticised him based on the erroneous article.

My comments :  Since this blog carried M'kini's reports, which M'kini now says was erroneous, and this blog also added its own comments critical of Razali Ibrahim, it is therefore regrettable and a word of apology is owed and hereby extended to Deputy Minister Dato Razali Ibrahim.

Most certainly the error was compounded.

But the matter still remains outstanding in that it is the M'sian gomen that has not responded to the Swiss AG's request for Mutual Legal Assistance.

Perhaps in the same breath the Deputy Minister Razali Ibrahim can also comment on the Swiss Attorney General's Annual Report 2016 where the Swiss AG has clearly reiterated the non cooperation by the Malaysian gomen  for the Swiss request (for MLA)?

Can Razali also demand for an explanation or an apology from the Swiss AG over his comments in their Annual Report 2016?  It certainly implicates Malaysia most negatively.

I will still not be voting for the BN this time around.
