No cabinet reshuffle in Selangor, says MB

Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said that he will not reshuffle his cabinet and that the present crop of exco members will continue to serve until the end of their term.
Mohamed Azmin said that although PAS had broken ties with PKR, he had to respect the wishes of the electorate who voted for PAS.
"The rakyat chose (this composition), not me. They chose 15 lawmakers from PAS, 15 from DAP and 14 from PKR.
"With these lawmakers, we formed a government (in Selangor). That was the mandate from the rakyat. I will abide by their wishes. We will serve until the end of our term," he told reporters in Shah Alam today.
Mahamed Azmin said this in response to suggestions by Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Youth vice-chief Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin on remove PAS exco members.
Shazni Munir said this was necessary in view of the PAS annual delegates meeting's decision to break ties with PKR.
Presently, Mohamed Azmin's cabinet consists of three PAS lawmakers. The deputy speaker of the Selangor legislative assembly is also a PAS member.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Azmin said that he was open to meeting PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang about current affairs.
"We must be humble so we can sit and talk. Sure, there are differences of opinions but I'm sure it can be resolved through discussion and consensus," he said.
On former de facto law minister Zaid Ibrahim's suggestion that Pakatan Harapan should nominated Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the coalition's choice for prime minister, Mohamed Azmin said the former minister should focus on winning the elections first.- Mkini
