What mischief have we done? DAP reps want Selangor PAS to spell it out

DAP state assemblypersons in Selangor have demanded state PAS commissioner Sallehen Mukhyi to back his claim with examples.
This is in response to Sallehen claiming that PAS excos in Selangor will remain in their positions in order to prevent DAP from committing mischief.
The PAS leader also cited how DAP excos in Selangor did not relinquish their posts when “they cut ties with the (now defunct) Pakatan Rakyat”.
However, DAP exco V Ganabatirau, who heads the poverty, caring government and plantations workers' committee portfolio, pointed out that it was PAS during its muktamar in 2015, which severed ties with DAP, leading to the disintegration of the then opposition coalition.
"Regarding Sallehen saying they want to be a watchdog for DAP, I don't know what mischief he is referring to.
"It's a really provocative comment. What mischief have we done in this country? Please list it down and compare it with what Umno has done," he told Malaysiakini.
Arguing that PAS and Umno now have close ties, Ganabatirau noted that PAS did not want to debate on issues related to 1MDB, Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) and Lembaga Tabung Haji.
"Why are they not interested in these issues? Why is DAP being targeted?" he asked.
Ganabatirau accused PAS of finding excuses to remain in the state government in order to enjoy the perks of the exco posts and positions in the state government-linked firms.
Same script repeated
Meanwhile, Kampung Tunku state assemblyperson Lau Weng San said Sallehen's claims were akin to the script used when PAS resolved to cut ties with DAP.
"It is illogical for anybody from PAS to accuse DAP again.
"Be that as it may, PAS would have to illustrate what kind of 'mischief' DAP could have done.

"DAP has been setting the record straight - that it is loyal to what was agreed upon and strives to achieve and realise our electoral pledge as outlined in the 2013 Selangor Pakatan Rakyat manifesto,” he added.
Lau also pointed out that DAP has only three excos and 13 state assemblypersons (excluding Subang Jaya state representative Hannah Yeoh, who is no included due to her appointment as the state assembly speaker).
Apart from this, he said DAP has some 90 councillors and 60 village development and security committee (JKKK) heads as well as a handful of representatives in surau and mosque committees.
"I cannot understand the logic behind Sallehen's statement," he added.- Mkini
