King Salman of Saudi Arabia has removed kingdom’s crown prince
named 31-year-old son, Mohammed bin Salman, next in line to throne
stark upheaval in leadership of kingdom
Mohammed emerged from obscurity when father ascended throne in 2015
accumulated vast powers as defense minister, oversees state oil company
critics have called him rash, inexperienced and power-hungry
ended career of previous crown prince, Mohammed bin Nayef
widely respected by Saudis and foreign allies for dismantling Al Qaeda
removed him from next in line to throne and interior minister
My comments : The end of the Saudi royals is getting closer. The appointment of the Saudi Crown Prince is not without the blessing of the US. The Saudi war against Yemen is not coming to any conclusion. The Yemenis still occupy Saudi claimed territory.
The 'boycott' or 'bloackade' or 'not talking to you' against Qatar is backfiring on the Saudis as well. These are very uncertain times for Saudi Arabia.
