MP: Has IGP not seen all 1MDB-linked documents?

Inspector-general of police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar has been asked to establish if he and the 1MDB task force have sighted all the documents related to their investigations or not.
This follows the IGP calling on Sarawak Report's London-based editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown to come to Malaysia to provide documents related to the latter's claim that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had paid lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah RM9.5 million.
“It would be absurd to expect one to believe that these basic documents and facts are not in their possession.

“That would speak volumes for their credibility. That would also throw wide open the question as to whether or not the task force has been of any use at all after all this while,” said Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo in a statement .
“The special task force was created years ago. Surely the police and MACC ought to have, after all this time, had sight of all transactions in the accounts of SRC International Ltd and that of the prime minister.
“It would be absurd to expect one to believe that these basic documents and facts are not in their possession.
“That would speak volumes for their credibility,” added the DAP lawmaker.
