How The Russians Repelled The First Ever "Drone Swarm" Attack

On January 5th, 2018 the Russian airbase at Hmeimim as well as their naval base in Tartus (Syria) were attacked by a swarm of armed drones each carrying enough explosives to destroy or damage jetplanes and ships.

However the Russians were able to completely repel the drone attack. Of the 13 drones that were used, seven were destroyed and six were captured.
