The last accused in deputy public prosecutor Anthony Kevin Morais’s murder trial expressed his fear to the High Court in Kuala Lumpur that he would be dead after today’s trial.
“After I give this testimony, I don’t know if I will be alive or dead. This might be my last testimony,” S Ravi Chanderan said to judge Justice Azman Abdullah, without divulging further.
Chanderan requested further discussion with the judge regarding his concerns before the examination-in-chief by lawyer V Rajehgopal, but was declined.
The judge then told Chanderan to speak to Rajehgopal if he had any problems.
