KL(Bernama): Police will call Anwar and several others to record their statements in connection with Muhammed Yusoff Rawther's allegations that he was sexually assaulted by the PKR president.
Bukit Aman said they would set up appointments with the individuals concerned to record their statements.
Police on Monday (Dec 9) had recorded Muhammed Yusoff's statement and obtained his statutory declaration on the alleged assault, he said.
"The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code (assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty) and the investigation papers will be referred to the Attorney General's Chambers with some recommendations based on the findings of the investigation," he said in a statement early Wednesday (Dec 11).
On Tuesday (Dec 10) Muhammed Yusoff was at Bukit Aman for the second time to have his statement recorded.
Dec 4, Muhammed Yusoff made statutory declaration public, alleging that he was sexually assaulted by Anwar on Oct 2 - Bernama
1. Why are Nurul Izzah and Wan Azizah keeping quiet about this? Hello Malaysian Media, go and ask them lah.
2. Why did Nurul quit from ALL her party posts so suddenly? Is there any connection between these events? This particular episode of “attempted” bootie busting is dated around early October 2018?
3. To Dato Sri Wan Azizah (who I admire greatly, Allhumma solli Alaikum) and Nurul if either of you can save the country unnecessary trouble please do so now.
4. The policeman’s statement highlighted in yellow above implies that the Police will be making a recommendation to the AG Tommy Thomas. The Police do not recommend to NOT prosecute. Any submissions by the police to the AG is always a recommendation to prosecute. If there is no case the police simply don’t submit anything at all.
5. So Tan Sri AG the ball will land in your court soon. Somehow lately the public has also lost some faith in you.
