Indonesian singer Glenn Fredly breathed his last on April 8 around 6pm at a hospital in Jakarta. He was 44.
Various Indonesian news outlets have confirmed news of his passing through Glenn's friend and fellow singer Tompi. His cause of death is not yet known.
Glenn entered the music industry in 1995 after winning a singing contest. He has since carved an illustrious career, specialising in R&B music.
He is best known for his 2002 break-up ballad, Januari.
Glenn leaves behind wife Mutia Ayu and their two-month-old daughter. - Star
