A man armed with a pistol has made off with RM20,000 after robbing a bank on Jalan SS 15/4G in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Risikin Satiman said police received a distressed call about 4.30 pm yesterday.
"The suspect entered the bank and pushed the security guard before firing a shot in the air.
“He then rushed to the counter and ordered the bank employee to hand over the money before escaping,” he said in a statement tonight.
Risikin urged those with information on the robber to contact investigating officer DSP Yeoh Chun Shyan at 03-78627222.
