Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) student Veveonah Mosibin and her parents had dinner with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin recently.
This was revealed by Veveonah on her Instagram account, where she described Muhyiddin as a "humble and amazing" person.
Although there are not many details about Veveonah's meeting with Muhyiddin, it was believed that the event took place in Kota Kinabalu on Friday.
Muhyiddin was in Kota Kinabalu for a meeting with Perikatan Nasional, BN and Parti Bersatu Sabah leaders ahead of the nomination day process.
Veveonah's Instagram account also recalled her recent meeting with Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
She thanked Khairy for meeting her and signed off her post with the hashtag "#fun".
Khairy had met her on Friday at UMS in Kota Kinabalu where he apologised for remarks made by deputy ministers Zahidi Zainul Abidin and Abdul Rahim Bakri.
The two deputy ministers had accused Veveonah of lying in a video clip she made documenting her ordeal with poor internet connectivity in Pitas, Sabah.
The video clip showed her taking an online exam on a tree.
Zahidi and Abdul Rahim had attracted criticisms for not acknowledging internet connectivity problems and was accused of bullying Veveonah. Zahidi has apologised for his remarks.
